Art Guidelines for Simply Smashing Compressed T-Shirts and Custom Packaging

Your electronic artwork file is considered “ready” when the artwork is created and delivered so we can use it in our templates and/or for outputting t-shirt screen print separations without the need for modifications.

• Resolution
  300 dpi compressed jpegs, .eps or .tif files at final size for Photoshop. Please send original hi-res files only. CMYK plus spot .dcs files if possible. Prefer vector files properly colorized. Please check color separations before sending file.
  


• Color Matching
  The Pantone solid coated formula guide is used to match tonal values of colors as close as possible at no charge.
  


• Fonts
  Please outline all fonts or turn to paths.
  


• Imprint Size/Location
  Depending on the compressed t-shirt shape and the goods to be printed, the art will be sized to best fit. We will do our best to accommodate a specific size imprint request.

• Templates
  Download one from our template list. Stock insert art can also be provided.

  Inserts are printed in CMYK or Pantone solid coated spot colors on hi-resolution digital printers to the nearest tonal match.

  Must be included with Quark files or embedded in Illustrator or Freehand.
  


• Bleeds
  Allow .25” bleed outside of template
  

PROOFS: PLEASE PROVIDE HARD COPY PROOFS WITH YOUR ORDER

All orders processed by Simply Smashing will require a signature on our fax approval layout form before we will proceed with the order. We will also send you a color JPEG of the art. Pre-production proofs are available for an extra charge. Please call for more information.
